Products used for hair straightening?

what recommended product (brand and name) should i use in my hair before and after straightening with a ceramic straightener/ blow drying it?

not too pricey but works well and protects hair from heat.

mmm... well I'm not quite sure what they sell or for that matter the shops available in austrailer... but oh well...

what I use is Tressemme heat defence styling spray..

I don't know if you've heard of it before... I hope they sell it there because it's really good, trust me it is!!!

It helps protect from ceramic straighteners, tongs asnd dryers. It also reduces frizz, and adds shine... It smells great too.. Here in england it costs aroung 鎷?.00 which I think is quite cheap considering its a 300ml bottle and what it does.. I would definatly invest in this one.

kerastase- heat protector!

its really good and i think its priced at 鎷?6 but it lasts for about 4 months! =)

whilst your hair is wet/damp squeeze some into your bam and rub it through your hair =)

you dont need much and it even smells great!

Biosilk hair therapy. It's the best when using a ceramic straightner. You can get it hair stores, in salons at jcpenney, I think you can even buy it at target. You can get the smallest bottle and it lasts a long time. All you need is like a dime size.

I live in the US and dont know if these products are sold in Australia but i use John Frieda thermal protection serum (about $8 here in the states)...i apply this before blow drying to towel dried hair.

When i use the flat iron i use CHI Shine Infusion Thermal Polishing Spray ($13)...my hair has never been softer, straighter and shinier. This product though...spray it a couple of inches away from the hair and let the mist fall on it...otherwise if u do it right on the hair it will be terribly greasy.
