What hair type works best for CHI Hair Straightening?

Hello, I have black hair and I am interested in hearing from anyone who is knowledgable (professional hair stylist preferred), about the CHI form of hair straightening. What type of hair was this method intended for? I am looking for a way to maintain a neat, professional and most importantly convenient style. Any advise/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

What hair type works best for CHI Hair Straightening?

I dont know if CHI has a specfic hair type but it works great on any type of hair and I'm sure it would work on yours. Just use small to medium size sections... it might not be able to get all the hair if you just grab a section and clump it together.

Any hairtype. But dont buy the Chi it might break in 1 year or even 3 months.

I know how that is, I'm half black, so I know, not all flat irons work on that type of hair. I have never used the CHI but my hair stylist, who does mainly black hair, swears by it. She even told me that she gets her hair permed every 4 months instead of every month because the CHI works so good on her hair! Ive heard only good things about that flat iron, Im even thinking about getting one myself. I say go for it, if it dosent work they way you'd like it to you can always return it.
