OK WELL I HAVE REALLY CURLY HAIR %26amp; FOR MY BIRTHDAY IM GONNA GET IT PROFESSIONALY STRAIGHTEND FOR 6 MONTHS AND I WAS JUST WONDERING HOW THAT WORKS %26amp; WHAT YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH IT IS!?!
I APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE! THANKS!!!
Hair straightening question!???!? It can work great, just make sure you see a quality professional. They can burn you hair up also, and leave you with frizz. You may still need a flat iron, but not on a hot heat setting. You also may be able just to use a glossing polish or spray.
Hair straightening question!???!? um so are you getting a relaxer? if your getting a relaxer just be careful to treat it right, and you ahve to use certain shampoos and conditioners so it's kind of a hassle. either way, just make sure you do exactly what the hairstylist says and you should be okay.
Hair straightening question!???!? i have curly hair to and i have a perfeshonal straightner too i have thick hair and it takes me about an hour to get all my hair you have to do chunks of it at a time here is a tip when it get's hot do not stick ur fingers in it it hurts really bad. hehe hope i helped
Hair straightening question!???!? well i havent had it done before but i hear it makes your hair really frizzy and it damages it. but if you want to do it go for it!
Hair straightening question!???!? They usally use a 'relaxer'. If your getting the Japanese hair straightening system. %26amp; It kind of spells bad when they're putting it on but afterwards it usally has the effect of asian people's hair. It's very effective, but you still have to maintain it by straightening it every day, as well as washing and condioning it daily. You also want to stay out of clhorine because it will damage the chemicals.

Hair straightening question!???!? ok, honey, by the time i am done with this u will prob hav about a dozen answers, but put some thought into this one---
i went to get my hair proff. straightened and it costed me about $600 and i was so pissed off. what happens is, i got it straightened about a month ago, and when i get it wet and what not, it will go back to being the original COMPLETELY curly hair i had before, unless i blow it out with a CONAIRE blow drier, and then starighte it AGAIN with a CHI flat iron, then it is straight. I think to myself, i could go to the store, jget a ten dollar straightener, and do it myself, and it will turn out the same way. so, just, dont spend tons of money on it, because it's not worth it, plus it took five hours.
if u wanna try something different so u dont get as PO as i did, go to the store, get LORIEL straightening stuff, do it urself, then it will be ok, and if u do it that way, and you want it to be ULTRA straight, flat iron it afterwards...
or..
buy a CONAIRE blow drier, they go for about $15, $20 dollars, and a CONAIRE round brush, make sure it is big, and dont get the medal teeth on the brush, get the plastic with the ball point on the tip, they go for about $5, $10 dollars
then, go to a hair salon or the mall in ESSENTIALS, and get the CHI straightner. it's amazing and doesn't burn or fry your hair. they go for about $160 dollars, but they are ceramic and very skinny, and heat up amazingly fast with no burnt smell.
then, take a shower or wash your hair. dry it slightly and then take the round brush and a little more than 3 strands of hair, and curl it up in the round brush, put your drier on the top of the round brush/hair, and pull down with the drier (while it is on, of course) repeat this process until the strands of hair are dry, and repeat all over your head.
then, turn your flat iron on, and flat iron your hair, and you will have VERY STRAIGHT hair after this process.
i hope this helped, it worked for me, good luck sweetheart anyway. if you have any problems email me at brunettecuti1892@yahoo.com GOOD LUCK!!
