Doubts about hair straightening?

mine is a curly hair.i want to do hair straightneing permanently coz am afraid 2 use those iron nd all.will it harm my hair ,how shuld i take care my hair after doinf straightening.hopin good advice frm u guys

Doubts about hair straightening?

I don't think you should do permanent hair straightening. It can really potentially damage your hair more then using a flat iron a few times a week.

I would suggest buying a good flat iron and then buying a heat protectant to use on your hair when you straighten it. This will prevent your hair from getting damaged. Or, you could use hair spray if you don't want to buy a heat protectant. When you flat iron your hair, its always a good idea to use a deep conditioner [I really like the ones from Dove!] once or twice a week. This will keep your hair healthy and moisturized, instead of weak and brittle.

Doubts about hair straightening?

hi,

you can straighten your hair yourself, without any iron stuff, here's an article for you:

it won't harm your hair so it's a good way out

Doubts about hair straightening?

Okay, do not do it yourself, all it takes is one booboo and your are screwed!!! Trust me, I know!!! I have had mine straightened over a year and a half ago and it was wonderful and has lasted that long, you just need to get your roots touched up every six months. My hair professional used Matrix and I NEVER had hair breakage or damage OF ANY KIND!!!!! I swear by it. I have had my hair straightened before and it was a disaster with another product and my hair was frizzier and dead and one other time that a friend did for me and killed my hair. Have it professionally done, it DOES cost more but in the end it is so much more worth it for you and your hair!!!!
