Hair straightening help?

I'm a guy so I don't really know what to do, anything is appreciated. I have medium length hair that is pretty wavy and when I dry (air or I have tried blow drying) it poofs up a ton. My question is what can I use to make it straight and not puff up, I want it to lay flat.

garnier fructis sleek and straight serum

and a round brush and blow dryer.

take a little serum and run it through wet hair blow dry hair until still a little moist.

take a large round brush and blow out in sections, using the round brush to pull straight and polish.

this is difficult for a guy but you could consult a salon or a girl friend for some tips. it's not difficult just hard to explain.

Good luck.

okay so you should blow dry it straight and then when it get all poofy put some product in it...and then put a beany on and it will flatten out your hair... haha thats what my brother use to do when he had long wavy hair.

or you could always buy a straightner that always works.

Buy a straightening iron. Blow drying is harder for me, so i just straighten mii hair with a straightening iron. (but don't do it all the time, straightening ur hair 2 much can damage it)

This is the straightener i have (read the article about it) : http://www.shesaid.com.au/article/2004/0...

i normally dont blow dry my hair so it stays down flat.

blow drying your hair makes a big difference on volume.

conditioner helps and look at shampoo's that help you have anti-frizz or anti-poof.

I invested in a CHI. its been the best thing ever! I had mine now for 11 months and it gives me smooth silky hair everytime. its fast to do it too with me having hair down to the middle of my back. i use super skinny by paul mitchell after im done. ****when you straighten divide your hair in sections and then comb your hair while your doing it. makes a difference. GOOD LUCK =)

Straighten it to whatever way you want it to go.

For the first few times, have someone help you with the back.

Sunsilk's Straighten-Up shampoo and condition work REALLY well! I have frizzy, poofy hair and that helps manage it. I use L'oreal Hot!Straight creme when my hair is damp and that helps straighten it too. When you dry your hair make sure that the air is blowing downwards so that your hair won't frizz. One of my guy friends sleep with a toque/hat on so that it will be flat in the morning.

Good luck!! Hope this helped.
