Hair straightening Products..?

Ive been straightening my hair for a while, and I would just like to know what are the best products that help protect your hair from heat. I would also like to know what products help smooth your hair so you won't have flyaways and etc. Thanks a bunch guys!!

Hair straightening Products..?

A great product to protect your hair from heat is Paul Mitchell's Styling Wax Spray. Spray just a mist on each section of hair right before using a straightening iron.

Another great product to protect from heat and breakage is Wella's Liquid Hair Restructurizer Leave-in Treament. It strengthens damaged hair with protein and helps protect hair from heat and harmful UV rays. Spray on wet hair after you get out of the shower and comb.

The best lightweight straightening products I recommend are:

- Phytodefrisant Straightening Balm. Very light weight and only a dime size needed. Does not weigh hair down and leaves hair very straight with volume.

- Also Jonathan Martin's Condition Weightless Smooth No Frizz Hydrating Balm. Adds shine, straightens and smoothes damaged cuticles.

Try to avoid applying any straightening products to your scalp or roots, that will make your hair heavy and make your scalp and roots appear oily.

Good luck!

biosilk silk therapy.. it smoothes and tames flyaways..it's also a thermal protector...follow the directions on the bottle...a little goes a long way...

Hair straightening Products..?

baby shampoo helps I use it on my mustache so it doesn't get brittle from straightening it out with the dryer. Baby poo makes it softer

Hair straightening Products..?

Paul Mitchell "Super Skinny Serum" works wonders. It smooths your hair down to control flyaways and frizz, and acts as a fantastic heat protectant.

Hair straightening Products..?

I have tried many a products as I have naturally tight curls. I recently found Redken Align to be the one that left my hair soft and smooth without many flyaways. Bumble and Bumble's Straight cream works really well also but is more expensive. I buy a finishing serum to smooth down flyaways when needed as well. You want to go get these at a professional hairsalon though, the cheap brnads from Walmart and such just aren't as high quality and don't work as well. Unfortunately- great products uaually come with a great pricetag. Good Luck and I hope it helps!!

I have really thick hair and it gets very frizzy.... I use oil sheen spray for african american people...it works great on caucasians... I spray it on my dry hair and then straighten. It looks glossy and is a good heat protectant. You can get it from any beauty supply store for about $3. Also I have been using new shampoo..Its called Hairapy...It works great. Get the blue bottle, its for frizzy hair... They also have a product for maintaining your hair.

frizz ease (John Frieda has a good one and Garnier smooth and sleek frizz serum is great too.)

Try tresseme heat protectant. it does a pretty good job.

Hair straightening Products..?

theres a special spray i use. mells like hair spray but works well and the smell doesnt stay on ur hair if ur worried about dat. the only problen is i cant remember wot its called!! i think its frizz ease or somethin.

btw, u should never straighten ur hair without at least one of these products - high rated or not!!

Hair straightening Products..?

sunsilk is really good for fly away hair its a purple bottle of sunsilk its probably one of the best things you could use

Hair straightening Products..?

If I want my hair to be pin straight I use Frizz Ease by John Frieda Straight Answer and blow-dry my hair and before I flat iron I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum both work great and smooth out my hair and make it shiny. The serum smells so good too.

But when I want it to look more naturally straight I let my hair air dry then use the serum and flat iron it.

For those hairs that have a mind of their own and serum can't even get them to stay I use a very small amount(less then a pea like a grain of rice) Alberto Vo5 gel wax I get the hair that sticks straight up and bring them down. Its great because it doesn't make them stiff of flaky you can't even tell you have gel wax on and your hair stays soft and smooth you can still fun your fingers through it.

This is what works for me ;)
