Chemical hair straightening or help?

my hair never seams to stay straight at all anymore, it always flicks out everywhere- even though i straighten it like 3times on a morning with ghd's but within a hour its back to not being straight at all! im thinking about chemical hair straightening - (which i know nothing about) is it worth it etc? or anything else that would help me? any advise on what i could do? my hair is just past shoulder lengh if that helps. thankksx

If your chemical relaxer is done by a professional and not in the kitchen, you have a better chance of coming out with healthy hair. Too many people try to cut corners by doing it themselves and have absolutely no idea what their doing. Often they even skip parts of the directions on the box just to get something done and then cry about it for days when they end up bald or with hair that feels like straw. Let a professional do it, they didn't go to school for nothing. Good luck

Relaxers will fry the heck out of your hair, they leave your hair straight, but it will feel like straw... I used to get them done, but I am letting them grow out of my hair now. I would so not recommend them. Try using another product, like sun silk with avocado.

this is because your hair is shoulder length. It lies on your shouldlers. Mine does it too..

My hair is the exact same!! Isnt it so annoyin?!! Anyway, i got this stuff in boots but havent actually tried it yet.....its a straightenin cream. (Cant think of the name but the brand is boots)You put it on after washin your hair and leave it in for a while. You could try that. Altho, you're not supposed to use it if you've just dyed your hair (reason i havent tried it yet)
