Hairspray or mousse after straightening hair?

after I straighten my hair, if I use a hairspray or a mousse does that hold my hair straight? And would that keep it straight for longer?

I put a wax mousse to my hair before I flat iron it. Then I use a product by TIGI S Factor called Seriously Straight....which really makes my hair feel silky and makes it shine .....With that all being said, I don't know why you would want to apply mousse or hairspray to your hair after you flat iron it. To me those products would take away from the look that you get and feel when you do flat iron your hair. TIGI S Factor Chic Shine Hairspray might would be something I would consider using because it not only is a hairspray but it adds shine and isnt a stiff hold. I don't think I would want my hair to be straight and stiff. Try using products such as mousse before you dry and flat iron.

hairspray really just holds a style together... like your fringe in one place or volume in your hair it won't necessarily keep it straight! i've heard you can get mousse that you can put in your hair when its wet that can make it straight just like you can put in a mousse to make your hair curly. I use hair wax on the bottom of my hair because it tends to curl a little at the end of the day...works well.

use either one and run a brush through it untill its dry and still straight.... itll bring down the friz and give you some volume

Mousse works alot better... Hairspray just makes your hair hard and holds the style together for a while

You should use mousse before you straighten your hair,and apply hairspray after.

Some hairsprays make your hair dull,so if you want it to shine,you should rub a little bit of oil moisturizer or gloss in your hair.Good Luck!

definitely hairspray!! mousse works best for curly and wavy stylies......plus even the application of hairspray is better as not to mess up the straightness..
