I'm a dude with long hair (just below the shoulders), and I like to have it straight, but not completely flat. To do this, I blowdry my hair, but it very rarely turns out well. Would I be able to get straight hair by just airdrying it, and applying a straightener to it?

Another idea, (if you want quicker results) is to use a diffuser on your blowdryer. Try combing as you dry with the diffuser.

I use gel, and it works as well a straightener.

Yes, letting ti air dry is the best way for your hair, and then applying a straightener will get you what your looking for in your hair.

apply a straightening balm to your hair and let it air dry. also, when you blowdry your hair make sure to point the nozzle straight down while pulling your hair taught with a brush.

If you mean straighteneing product - no. It will jsut make your hair look greasy. And if you mean actual straightener - blow dry it before straightening. And also, use a volume product (Sunsilk is good) and set the straightener at medium heat.

My hair is naturally wavy, and I love straight hair - but I refuse to burn it with an iron. So I use product..

Straight Sexy Hair is the name of the product.. It's a spray that you use after you shower on semi-wet hair. You comb your hair out after you spray it and let is air dry..

yep and it is better for your hair not to blow dry it...and after you wash your hair rinse it in cool water...that leaves it shinier too...good luck

its better for your hair but if you just let it air dry it wont turn out stariat unless your hair is already natuarlly straight

no. Blow dry it, as you are doing this brush it straight, then if you want it shinny and straight healthy looking, use a flat iron on it.
