Tips for straightening hair....?

I have layered hair and when i straighten it, the ends go outward. I just want it pin straight so what can i do to it to make it pin straight?

Tips for straightening hair....?

use straightening shampoo %26amp; conditioner. and if you blow dry your hair, use a big round brush to get it as smooth as possible and curl the ends under, then straighten them. they should stay pretty straight - my hair is the same (so annoying!) and that's what i do.

if you don't blow dry your hair, the best you can do is when you iron your hair, curl the iron slightly under (like, twist it towards your head like you're curling the ends in) just enough that they look barely curled under. when you're done, shake out your hair it'll look pin straight.

just make sure that you put plenty of anti-humidity products in your hair because humidity is what makes the ends flip.

I straighten my hair almost everyday, and I have layers just like you! If you want it pin straight, you have to hold the straightener on a little longer. Just make sure you use something so your hair doesn't get too dryed out from straightening it. I hope I helped and good luck! :) 閳?br>Tips for straightening hair....?

Use the straightener really slowly like intel it steams, and do it in little sections. That's at least what I do cuz my hair never does what I want it to :p

Before I give my opinion I have a few additional questions.

1) What is your hair type? (length, amount of curl, etc.)

2) What products are you using?

3) How do you straighten your hair now? (type of brushes, how you section your hair, what type of flat iron %26amp; dryer)

4) Do your ends flip outward immediatly after straightening it, or does it progress throughout the day?
