Does hair remain straight with hair straightening ?

I've got curly/wavy hair. It get's a bit frizzy sometimes, but when blow dried it doesn't frizz or anything. I was wondering, if I apply the hair straightening thing to my hair, then will it remain straight when i wash it? or less frizzy? [im talking about the normal straightening not the japanese one.

I have had my hair straightened with the professional products, and it does relax your hair. I think to how much it depends how curly/wavy your hair is. My hair is extremely curly so it doesn't work the greatest on me, but it does relax the curls then it does not take as long to straighten with a straightening iron then.

I have known others though that it takes a perm out for them.

When you apply the straightening you need to follow the directions for the product. It tells you how long you need to wait before washing your hair, if you don't wait that long you will wash the product out and then it won't work.

It is just something you have to try to see if it works for your hair type.

No. it stays straight for about a day or so but if you have wavy hair it will stay until you wash it.

get a CHI flat iron. Works wonders %26amp; will last quite a few days!

if you use the straighting cream, then it just stays straighter for longer, but if you washi it then i will go back to normal

if u have curly/wavy hair and u flat iron it it should remain straight as long as ur using ceramic plates u should be fine and it doesn't have to be a chi! If u want to put some product in ur hair u can use a product called Lanza ( before u blowdry )which is awesome especially if u have course hair should take out the friziness ... when ur done flat ironing u could put some product to take away the fly aways and to add some shine like one of my favs by chi oil u dont need a lot it isnt too expensive either ur hair should last till ur next wash!
