Japanese hair straightening/thermal reconditioning help?

Can anybody tell me something about Japanese hair straightening? Like, it's supposed to be permanent, but I hear you have to get it redone every so often? And some people says it fries their hair? I basically want to know what Japanese hair straightening does to hair, and how long it lasts. Thanks!

nothings permenant, darling. of course you will have to get it done every few months, but would u rather have it straight that long or have to do it every day? its like chemicals they put in your hair that makes it straight for a while. 閳?br>Japanese hair straightening/thermal reconditioning help?

it is a process that takes alot of time and money and it deals with very harsh chemicals. What they do it switch the bond in ur hair to be straight.... when your roots grow in they grow in like ur natural hair so if u have really curly hair you would have to get a touch up every so often so you dont look rediculous with super straight hair and curly roots. When you get it retouched u have to go to the same person b.c they know what chemicals were used in the process. There is a newer thing called Brazilian straightenin.. its less harsh on your hair and it naturally just fades away.

I get Japanese hair straightening regularly... for many years now..

my hair is long.. and i get it done about 2 times a year.. every 6 months..

it varies depending on how long your hair is...

you do have to get it redone for your roots..

it is expensive but its only twice a year and it is so worth it then wasting half hour in the morning trying to straighten your hair with straightening iron...
