Question about straightening hair?
Yea you should do it if you want straight hair for a long time. I does a little damage to your hair but it's still way less damage than straightening your hair every single day.
Question about straightening hair?
its really damaging and costs a lot.
Question about straightening hair?
straightening hair is BAD! omg my friend does it every day and her hair is so ugly now it's like her roots are damaged and she ALWAYS has split ends. Their is this thing call the japanese hair straightening and it keeps ur hair straight for a good 6 months, but it's also dangerous b/c ur hair can get soo damanged. I wud recommend u straighten ur hair twice a week the most!
Question about straightening hair?
chemical straightening is good as an alternative to straightning, as it lasts for longer, and means you dont have to straighten your hair evryday. However, it does damage your hair quite a bit, so you would probably need a really good conditioner.
Question about straightening hair?
Chemical straightners.I only recomend those if your hair you just want to relax your curl.It does not permantly straighten the hair because when your roots come in they come in curly. You will still have to use a straightner to smooth it.If you decide to get one make sure your hair is in good condition because it can damage it vey easily.
Question about straightening hair?
the salon were i get my hair cut offers 2 years of strait hair by perming it.
its like $500 and leaves your hair with NO volume and you can never get it back how it use to ( i didn't try it thats just what the people who worked there said)
permanent straiting takes like 6 hrs. and deals with harmful chemicals. it can be very bad for your hair and the environment i wouldn't do it.
its like a tattoo you cant go back once you got it
Question about straightening hair?
i think if you really want your hair straight, you should go for the straight perm! But I like things natural, and i straighten only once a week. Also, if you get a perm it lasts up to a year until your curly hair grows back. Downs-- can damage hair cuticle ( so don't do a perm too often!), takes a long time to do at the salon
Ups-- looks great, don't have to straighten hair every morning, and yea. GO FOR IT
Question about straightening hair?
your hair will break
Question about straightening hair?
here are a couple of downs:
pulls out your hair
drains all the good health out of it
look stupid after a while because it looks like a bad weave
basically it ruins you hair completely inside and out
the ups:
You can get it wet with out it going curly again
it doesn't cost much (which I guess can be a down too because it's cheap)

Question about straightening hair?
You can get something called a Japanese Hair Straightening, which permanently straightens your hair until your new hair grows in at the roots and you can either let it grow out or get it redone. This process is very very expensive though, it can cost around $350-$1,000. My friend had it done and it was $700, it worked great, until her hair started falling out. So obviously, this process is not great for everyone, especially if your hair is sensitive or if you have very thin, fine, hair.
