Thermal hair straightening...will it be ok for me?

My hair is sandy blonde, very wavy/loose curls and I straighten my hair about every day. I want to get my hair thermally straightened but I'm afraid it might ruin my hair. My hair is also pretty thick- definately not thin. Should I consider the Thermal Straightening?

you'd better be careful. Those things can straigten your hair permanantly. I don't mean your whole head, only certain areas and you may end up with bigger problems. Lay off the daily straightening, that alone is doing much damage. Why don't you just alternate styles. One day where is a cute ponytail, or add hair extensions, or slicked or curly, or blowdried, or and updo hair style. You should strive for using the least heat as possible. Good luck with whatever you decide. If you get bored with styling your hair, let a 'goodfriend' and/or a good hairstylist do your hair as a treat to yourself.

umm unless you have african hair you should not do that. what it does is it dries it out so bad that it actualy 'dies' and goes flat you will probaly regret it

instead opt for straigting shamppo conditioner serum mask detangeler blah blah blah

this process tends to dry your hair out. There are other process that are considered to be safer for hair depending on the type. Most professionals will council you to get something else. If you decide to give it a chance, work with someone highly recommended. You will need frequent deep conditionings. Note: It should never, ever, ever, ever be done on African/African-American hair, which is best straightened via chemical relaxers or a press.
