Straightening your hair can be grueling... or fairly simple if you do right
Firstly you'll want to invest in a good flat iron, as stated above... the CHI flat iron is among the best of the best, there are generic brands that do a good job as well... but as with most hair products, you get what you pay for. Some other good brands are the Solia %26amp; the Sedu.
Secondly, make sure you have the proper hair products to protect your hair as much as possible from the heat and retain shine %26amp; moisture. The CHI has specific brand products that go along with the flat iron. You can also go into most beauty stores, like Sally's, and find great products to help ease the whole process, you'll want a serum, a oil moisturizing spray and good shampoo and conditioner to insure clean hair before straightening.
And lastly is the process of straightening. Depending on the thickness, length and texture of your hair, it can take anywhere from 15-20 minutes to an hour. Be sure to divide your hair into equal sections and use a mirror. With a good flat iron, you'll be able to get out curl within one to three strokes over the hair, usually it's tougher closer to the roots of your hair as they're harder to see, especially on the back off the head. The more you do it, the better you'll get.
Also, depending on the texture and type of hair, it'll depend on how long you can where you hair straight, some girls can where it straight up to a week, which others can last only one day. If you do plan on prolonging the straigtness... be sure to take EXTRA good care of it, wrap it up at night, keep it clean and free of hairsprays and gels and try to steer away from using the flat iron every day as it can lead to excess damage.

well i would advise using a thermal protection spray so your hair doesn't get fried..I've noticed the best way to get your hair the straightest is to have a reallllly hot flat iron...unfortunately, the hotter it is, the more damage it does to your hair. I wouldn't recommend doing it too often, or you'll notice the damage pretty quickly
Hair straightening.?
i use a powerful straightener it heats up in 3o seconds you can get them at rite aid . i straighten my hair then i put straighting frizz cream in it
Hair straightening.?
ummm.. yea i am a pro at this one lol
get those BIG clips like they use when they are cutting your hair at the salon...
and clip your hair up...
straighten your hair in SMALL sections and then when you are completly finished doing that just run the straightener through your har in bigger chunks...IT WORKS!!
make sure your straightner gets REALLY hot too
Hair straightening.?
if you dont want to relax or perm your hair, a ceramic iron would do the trick a good one usually runs about 30 dollars
Hair straightening.?
put a dime size glob of hair sryum all over your hair.then brush it w/ the blow drier until your hair is shiny and straight.
(not curly or greasy)

I agree with "ambieé–³?quot;.
I've had my hair straightener for 2 years and never did it the right way (as i tried to do it as quick as possible).
So I ended up tieing my hair up in 4 sections, and worked from bottom to the top of my head. Straighting small amounts of hair.
And its poker straight, and straighter then ever.
And I just gave it a light spray of Garnier Fructis Extreme Hairspray.
You can use the products that "protect" your hair from the heat. But I've never found them to work on my hair.
You Tube also have how to's on there.
Good luck to you.

Use a straitening serum you can get any at wal-mart and so forth then blow dry with a brush then use a straitening iron it straitens beautiful i do it all the time my hair is naturally wavy so when i use these products together it comes out nice and smooth. hope this helps. =)
Hair straightening.?
i would ask a friend that straitens her hair becouse their is no way you can make the back perfect

First, you need a good straightener. I recommend one from folica.com, they're cheap and work well. Before you straighten it, spray it with a protecting spray so your hair won't get fried. Clip your hair up in sections and make sure to go over each piece until it's as straight as you want it.
