Japanese hair straightening system- how does it work?

I am interested in getting this done because my hair has spiral curls but I am mixed so when I straighten it, it's beatuiful but it takes too much time and straightening it is causing it too much damage. I prefer to wear my hair straight, so if I get the Japanese Hair straightening system I wanted to know if I decide not to get it "touched up" and I want my ahir to go back to curly, do I have to let it grow out? Or, is there a reversal process? How does the Japenese hair straightening system work and does anyone recommend or not recommend it, and why?

I had this done...it was GREAT....for all of 4 months. It only cut my styling time down to 20 minutes instead of 40. Blah..the point was to wash and go with straight hair..that was NOT the case it looked dry and damaged if I combed it out straight without styling with a blower( which I also was trying to reduce)I looked like frizz mop!. My hair was great when left wet with leave in conditioner...wavy and nice...or if I blowed it and falt ironed it.....and then the growth began.

My roots looked way too curly as opposed to the rest of the hair and I learned that lot of places don't quite give you a discount if its a touch up of the roots...they charge a simliar price or almost half.

4 months after my hair began to fall out....and break....causing me to cut 4 inches off and begin repairing the rest. damaged damaged damaged.

It looks great in the begining but that was made for people with WAVY hair not curly. You will regret it. Spend time on frequent trimming and conditioners to repair heat styled hair...do NOT do it. You will regret it. Trust me it will look better and bouncier with just a blow dry..don't do the chemicals.
