Straightening hair too much?

so my hair straightener is one of those shitty $20 walmart straighteners. you have to go over the same part about 5 times for it to look straight.

anyways im thinking of getting a jilbere straightener. but i have a fear of killing my healthy looking hair since i straighten every day. how do i prevent my hair from becoming dryed out? is there a product to protect my hair from all the hair straightening i do and blow drying too?

Actually, you can buy a more expensive, better working flat iron and it'll be easier on your hair. I use a HAI ceramic flatiron ($120) that burns the hell out of my hair but I have way less damage. Go for the more expensive one, and if you're really that worried about ruining your hair, buy some heat protection product.

well, maybe because you strating your hari so much, you should go to a salon and have it permanetly straitned, if thats too extream then buy a better straitner, it will pay off in the long run

Yes, straightening that much can damage your hair. There are special shampoos and conditioners to help prevent dry and/or damaged hair. They sell them almost anywhere. You might not want to straighten your hair everyday, or try a different style. A lot of applied heat to your hair can make it brittle, dry, and more of it will fall out.
