Hair straightening products.CLUELESS!?

k well i dont know anything about hair. i do know that i need help using products and finding products.

What hair straightening and heat protection sprays would u recomend?

If they are sold at any major stores which one?

(im not exactly poor but, i am in high school and cant afford the BEST products.stuff in the $5-15 dollar range is great)

am i supposed to use the hair straighten spray then straighten,then heat protect spray then straighten?

or

spray both at same time then straighten?

or?...

any other info or tips would be awesome.

I like the chi serum. I've found it at the walgreens, it's about $11.00. John Frida has a thermal hair serum which works just as well it's, about $7.00.

I apply the serum to my hair first (make sure your hair's completely dry) then I use my chi flat iron. I then follow with a little more serum to add a a healthy shine to my freshly straightened hair.

MOTIONS heat protector is really good. and to straighten your hair try ironing it. i know its not good for your hair so dont make a habit of it, and when you do make sure you use the heat protector on your wet hair, then dry it. then iron it. if when your done ironing it and your not satisfied with how straight it is, you can go over it with a straightener! hope this helped!
