Hair Straightening =]?

So I straighten my hair everyday and use fructis garnier sleek and shine oil. Does this product make my hair more prone to heat or protect it from it.

Hair Straightening =]?

no, it does not protect your hair. My sister used the same thing, and she straightened her hair everyday too. After a while, your hair will start to develop about an inch of dead hair. Its sick. It is basicly unbrushable, and always look thick and dead. I would suggest buying something that is actually for straightening or preotecting against heat. I straighten my hair often also, so i use a moisturizing conditioner. My fav is dove http://www.dove.ca/images/hair/moisture_...

You can buy it at any grocery store or Wal-Mart, Target.

Then, i would suggest using a treatment for when your actually straightening it.

These all work very well:

If you like your hair to be frizz free, you can also use a little teeny dab of smoothing serum and rub throughout your hair to take away frizz.

Good Luck.

Protect. Good use too. You should use spray gel before you blow dry, and straigten, when it is wet. I reccomend Herbal Essence. =]

if it says heat protecter on it, then it protects it, if it doesn't, then it doesn't

a good heat protecter is the one from treseme

spary it mostly on the ends of your hair, not the roots, %26amp;do not ever straiten your hair when it's wet, even if you have a wet to dry one,

it just makes your hair more damaged

hope i helped(:

It doesn't say that it protects against heat, so it does NOT protect against heat. You should not be using any product on a daily basis as this can make your hair look greasy and dirty. Try getting a product that is meant to protect against heat, like TreSemme Thermal Defense.
